D-Sub, D-Shaped Connector Backshells, Hoods
Products in this family are used for the construction or repair of D-subminiature (D-Sub) cables, so named because of the D-shaped shroud surrounding their mating region and the relatively high interconnect density they offered at the time of their introduction.
